spring

“In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.” – Margaret Atwood

It seems like spring is arriving in Ann Arbor. I have been up since early this morning reading and writing like a good grad student.  The only thing that has kept me going has been the sun pouring in through my yellow curtains and the birds chirping away outside.  I hadn’t realized how nice it is to hear birds chirping. As a person from a place without four seasons, it is quite a unique experience to notice the marked change between each one.
